The Abel Tasman Coastal Track has long been famous among trampers, but its main attractions - the scenic beaches, coves and bays - make it an equally alluring spot for sea kayaking.

This is New Zealand's smallest national park, protecting 23,000 hectares of the most natural stretch of easily accessible coastline in New Zealand.

The spectacular Franz Josef Glacier descends to just 250 metres above sea level amidst the greenery and lushness of a temperate rainforest.
Of all the accessible temperate glaciers in New Zealand, the Franz Josef Glacier is easily the steepest and fastest moving.

Certenley the best way to explore the glacier is to do the HELIHIKE. It is not cheap - but the 300 NZD is the money well spent!
The views are amazing and you are able to walk on the most beatiful top part of the glacier!

The glacier slides forward at rates up to 10 times faster than most valley glaciers, presenting the visitor
with a spectacular and unique icefall of crevasses, pinnacles, ice caves and canyons.

Milford is by far the best known of all of the fiords and the only one that can be accessed by road. It is approximately 16km from the head of the fiord to the open sea, which means visitors can comfortably travel the length of the fiord to open ocean and return on one of the many cruise options available in one and a half to two hours cruising time.

Milford Sound is simply stunning. In Maori legend, the fiords were created not by rivers of ice, but by Tu Te Raki Whanoa, a godly figure who came wielding a magical adze and uttering incantations. Milford Sound (Piopiotahi) is without doubt his finest sculpture. Whatever the fiord's mood, teeming with rain or with sun glistening on deep water, it will inspire you.

The beautiful 2 hour ride along the river flats, crossing the Rees and Dart Rivers at the Head of Lake Wakatipu.

This is the region where some of the scenes for "The Lord of the Rings" were filmed. You can see me of them during the ride.

Wellington is a picture perfect city. It is set between a magnificent harbour and rolling green hills. It is also a compact city where funky shops, exciting galleries and great restaurants are within easy walking distance.

A visit to NZ wouldn't be complete without seeing Rugby game! Luckly Reuters always has some spare tickets!

The Abel Tasman coast has one of the largest tidal ranges in New Zealand. There can be a range of up to 4.9 metres between high and low tides. This feature creates spectacular tidal estuaries that change from wide lagoons of calm, azure water to expanses of golden sand laced by trickling streams.
PUNAKAIKI

Punakaiki is best known for its Pancake Rocks and Blowholes - both of which are spectacular and a must-see when visiting the West Coast.

There are some beatiful places there which are definatelly worth visting that is why i have put these photos to this album.
