MYKONOS - Aug 2011

CHORA - which in greek means “town” and it's the way locals call the capital of an island when it has the same name with the island.
The island was once very poor. The people tried to survive on fishing and stock breeding. Ship construction was a major industry.
Tourism has turned the economy over since it started in the 1950s
View from Villa @ Santa Marina Resort, Ornos Bay
Situated on a private peninsula overlooking the Mediterranean and Bay of Ornos, Santa Marina, offers panoramic views of ...
...sparkling sapphire waters, emerald green grass and clear blue skies - obviously I manage to take at least 100 photos there!
Crazy lunch @ famous NAMMOS
Beatiful place, nice crowed, loud music and LOTS of fun!!
Boat ride back
Windmills that are iconic feature of the Greek island of the Mykonos.
Full Moon White Party @ Santa Marina Resort
Churches of Hora
HORA with its narrow, winding streets , whitewashed buildings with blue trim, nice restaurants ,clothing and clubbing.
Beatiful both during the day and at night.
HORA in the evening.
My favorite activity - sunbaking in the pool while overlooking the sea.
