I would like to thank Damian, Marcello and Pira for the tips on Ibiza they gave me before i went there myself!
I followed most of them and they are of course incorporated in the schedule below! Thanks guys!!!
The schedule below is based on my trip to Ibiza in summer 06.
The party calendar is very similar each year so it should not differ much but to make sure please double check on the best Ibiza website:

Ibiza Spotlight

Here is the map of the more relevant part of the island - the South part :-)

As you can see Clubs and beaches are spread around and that is why you need a CAR!!! More tips on where to rent a car - below!

DC10 Club is not listed on the map, its on the way to Las Salinas close to the airport.

To give you an idea from Ibiza Town to San Antonio it takes about 30 min.

This is the best day to arrive and leave. For tips on what to do see at the bottom.

SPACE - "We love Space"

This DJ marathon is one of the BEST parties in Ibiza. Starts at 6 am on Sunday and goes on for 24h till Monday morning! Depending on how much energy you have you can go around midday or bit later but be sure you get there before the sun goes down as the party on the outside terrace in the sun is amazing! At midnight they close the terrace and the party moves inside which is great as well as the BEST DJs are spinning and everyone is there!

HOT TIPS:

  • Go there before 6 pm so you get a bracelet and you are entitled to go out once - its really important if you get tired later but you still don't want to go home - normally there is NO Re-entry!!!
  • On the entrance hide your camera - otherwise they will take it and make you pay 3 EUR for storing it, you get it back on the exit!
  • Dress up crazy - this is one of the most crazy parties :-)

DC10 - "Circoloco"

This is definitely the best place to be on Monday! The place rocks! It used to be opened only on Mondays, now its open almost all week but Monday still remains its highlight! Its located close to the airport on the right side of the road to La Salinas, in a kind of old hangar. It is opened from 9 am in the morning. First you party in the outside part and at midnight they close it and everyone moves inside. I much better like the outside.

HOT TIPS:

  • Get there in the morning as it will be less crowded - well - depends of course on how tired you are after Space :-)
  • You can get in and out as many times as you want so in case you get tired there is not problem!
  • When you indeed get tired or hungry go for a nap and lunch to Sa Trinxa in La Salinas which is close by!

SA TRINXA - Playa des Las Salinas

This is one of the most funky places on the beach. Great beach, great music - DJ starts at 2 pm, great food and great Sangria - especially the white one and the Champagne one! You can rent a bad to relax and than have lunch as well. All in one!

2 OPTIONS for night:

PACHA - Roger Sanchez - "Release Yourself"

Pacha is one of the best clubs in Ibiza - its nice inside, it has great DJs, nice people go there and on the top of it there are great dancers shaking their asses all over the club! I especially love the ones on the top terrace in the champagne glass...hot!
One of my favorite parties in Pacha was Roger Sanchez. I loved the music and the atmosphere! I personally never get to Pacha before 4 am but he starts shortly after midnight. Its 7 hour set. If you followed my advices before you most probably will be ex ousted so i suggest you slip till 3 am and than go there around 4 am. He spins till they close which is 7.30 am.

HOT TIP:

  • Pacha has pre-party at MAMBO Cafe in San Antonio so if you did not follow my tips and you are full of energy you might want to go all the way there to see him play in this intimate atmosphere. He usually starts there at 8 pm.

AMNESIA - Cocoon

Apparently it is one of the best parties in Ibiza, and definitely the best party in Amnesia. I actually have not been so cannot give you to many tips on that but you should go! I will - next time when i am not so exhausted. Next time i will be smarter with my tips and will have a rest.

After the best Sunday & Monday - 2 party days in Ibiza - you need a rest for the rest . In my opinion there is no must-go parties on Tuesday so use it to recharge your energy and have a relaxing day.

CALA JONDAL Beach

This is my favorite beach spot! I love it especially in front of Blue Marlin. There is not much beach someone can say (indeed there is small rocky path to the sea) but the atmosphere of the place rocks! White round beds, small altanas and beach beds, great music (DJ starts at 2 pm), great staff and most importantly nice, cool kind of posh people makes it really COOL spot!
For lunch i suggest restaurant "next door" - TROPICANA - website . Also ask the waiters about the parties in Blue Marlin. Sometime they have small parties like Sasha Birthday i went to that are not advertised but are one of the best ones!

Sunset at CAFE DEL MAR

Go to famous CAFE DEL MAR to see the sunset. Its the best place to do that in Ibiza. Its really nice to seat in one of that water facing bars, have sangria and watch the sun go down. Make sure you go there earlier - it is about 30 min drive from Ibiza to San Antonio and than you need to find a parking spot! I would start heading there at least 1 hour before the sunset (depends which month you are there). I actually did not like none of that places that much and expected much more. Its full of non-good-quality tourists and i expected it to be bigger....anway - you should see it at least once as Cafe Del Mar is a history!

Pre party at CAFE MAMBO

Once you are already in San Antonio you have to pass by CAFE MAMBO especially that is it just next door to Cafe Del Mar. The DJs and crowd are actually better there as that's the spot where Djs from Pacha warm up and have they official pre parties! On Tuesday it will be Defected in the House. Other days you can see Roger Sanchez, Eric Morillo...

Evissa Centro - Old Town

Believe it or not but Ibiza is not only party scene - but it has also really nice old town! You can go there around sunset and climb on the top and hand around the small streets (if you were to lazy to drive to San Antonio).Than go for small shopping on the Cala XXXX. After that some drinks - there is so many bars on the XXX street that i don't even know which one to recommend. Most of them similar so up to you. Than have a dinner there - some great TAPAS restaurants. Also - plenty of choice- just look which one you like and go for it! You can get some tickets for the night parties here as well!
Some famous bars are; BASE BAR or ???

Most of the bars in the Center are opened till 4 am, but i would not stay that long - as i said - enjoy that one night and go to sleep early :-)

If you are more into trance than House than this is THE night - In AMNESIA its Armin Van Buren spinning!

JOCKEY CLUB - Las Salinas

Las Salinas beach is really good hang out! This time for a change instead of going to Sa Trinxa go to the closer place - Jockey Club. They also have DJ that starts at 2 pm. Its maybe a bit less party like atmosphere than Sa Trinxa but the food is better! Its really excellent place for lunch (and Sangria of course :-))

SPACE - Home of La Troya

Former "La Troya Assasina" party organized by one of the most influential people in Ibiza, Brazilo, moved from Amnesia back to Space after they had a fight. Don;t get confused - Amnesia kept the rights to the name "Troya Assesina" and you will see ads about that party taking place in Amnesia, but the REAL Troya is back to SPACE!
This is definitely the most crazy party in Ibiza. Its home to transvestites, gays and lesbians dressed up like you have never seen it, or not dressed up at all (i have seen naked women to)! There are crazy performances they are giving on the stage, and i mean CRAZY! The party is also famous for Circoloco drink they sometimes give away for free and which content is unknown, can be everything...Don't get scared - the party is great fun and there is a lot of "normal" people there to! Its fun to see all this crazy ness and listen to good music. They all party like nuts!

SPACE - "After Party - La Troya"

If you have not made it last night to Space you have to go at least for After Party! It starts at 8 am (the party finished at 7 am and there is 1h break for cleaning).

HOT TIPS:

  • Be sure that you are in the neighborhoodbefore 10 am - like this you can buy cheaper wrist band in one of the bars in front of Space like Tantra. It will cost you 20 EUR instead of 35 EUR you would have to pay on the entrance!
  • Hide your camera! This time you will really need it to take the photos of all the crazy dressed people!

BORA BORA Beach

After Space you don't need to go to far to be on the beach and continue to have fun. Right in the middle of Playa den Bossa's long beach, directly under the famous Jet Apartment Complex , Bora Bora is probably the coolest beach scene in the world - It doesn't cost anything to get in, it is right on the beach, and the vibe is incredibly friendly. The perfect place for those hot and sunny Summer afternoons...Bora Bora is good every day of the week so it does not really matter when you come here. Later people dance on the tables and go Loco! The party finishes at midnight.

For the night there are few options:

PACHA - "Deep Dish" or "Renaissance"

I love Deep Dish so of curse I will recommend you going there! CHeck if its both Saram and Dubfire spinning. Dubfire is better so if its only Sharam you might want to consider other options. If you do decide to go to Pacha make sure you don't pay the full entry price on the door = 60 EUR.

HOT TIPS:

  • FIrst way to get cheaper to PACHA is to go for the dinner. The Restaurant - Fusion Food Sushi Lounge is located next door to the club, opened from 22.00 to 4.00 am and take reservation from 20.00 to 22.00 under the number 971 310 959. If you eat for at least 60 EUR you get in to Pacha for free.
  • Buy cheaper ticket for Pacha in Tantra Bar or one of the bars around = 45 EUR.

AMNESIA - Cream Ibiza

Cream is usually more Trance party, there are DJ like; Paul Van Dyk, Paul Oklenfould or Eddie Halliwell spinning. So if you are into trance that is the place for you!

HOT TIPS:

  • Amnesia is located half way between Ibiza and San Antonio on the main road, on the opposite side of the highway from the village of San Rafael . IF you don't have a car there is an hourly bus service! From Amnesia the bus stop is located on the opposite side of the road to the club, walk for about 1 minute to the right (with the club behind you, down hill) the bus stop is there.

Today lets try something esle - like one of the less famous BEACHES:

CALA CONTA
The views from above the beach, across to the islands and the changing colors of the sea are truly beautiful.
The beach lies on the western most point of Ibiza, ensuring exceptionally clean waters and beautiful sunsets.

SA CALETA
To the east of Cala Jondal and reached by unsurfaced road, with a sign to Restaurant Sa Caleta. Absolutely beautiful sandy beach with very shallow water.

There is plenty of other beaches you can try out: Beaches in Ibiza

PRIVILAGE - " Manumission"

If you followed the whole schedule it means that you have been to almost every club but you are still missing the BIGGEST one in the world with mind-blowing interior complete with pool, gardens, back room(s). I have heart mixed opinions about it but its worth seeing at least once and Friday party is apparently the best! Located Half way between Ibiza and San Antonio on the main road, near San Rafael. On Friday Manumission do popular rave music in the sala principal, provided by both djs and live bands. They also crank up dedicated live venue the Music Box for their Friday party, and incorporate a much-mashed mish mash of rock, house, electro and pop in the others. They also have special shows with trampolines and fire s...

Other not bad option is PURE PACHA.

Saturday is actually the best day to arrive and leave so you will not have time to do much unless you have chosen your dates differently. If you did than go to the beach and after that here are my recommended places:

Hotel ES VIVE - "Hed Kandi pool pre-party" (Afternoon)

This hippest hotel in the party precinct is perfect for clubbers. Only 10 minutes from Ibiza Town - its located in Figueretas.
In one word: it's cool.. What other hotel has its own CD? And i personally LOVE their CDs - i have all of them! Another advantage: If drinking is your thing you'll be pleased to note there is 24 hour service - the Experience Bar is open from 8pm to 8am and the Breakfast Bar caters to those lounging around the swimming facilities. Every day there are some famous DJs spinning in the pool are but Saturdays are run by Hed Kandi with their extremely popular pool pre-party - the best day to come here! POOLSIDE @ ES VIVE, 3PM – 7PM - Free!

Restaurant L'ELEPHANT for dinner

It is not true that Ibiza is only Euro trash and skanky clubs. There are also some really good elegant restaurants! L'Elephant has an elegant dining room with wonderful views of Old Ibiza Town from the terraces. Located in San Rafael.
Gillou "the Boss” will take good care of your dinner in this "freaky but luxurious" restaurant. Its great to have fine French diner or last glass on the terrace and front of Ibiza by night. Also don't be surprise if around 2h or 3h in the morning Gillou and his crew push the sound louder and starts to dance on the table!

EL DIVINO - "Hed Kandi"

In this schedule I tried to include everything so the only missing club in that collection is El Divino. It also matches the style of all the places i recommended for Saturday - i guess i can call it "POSH SATURSAY" as all these places are most posh and elegant ones in Ibiza and get nice crowd!
El Divino is also known for the beautiful girls who really dress up for that venue - so guys - go for it! Its located right on the harbor, directly opposite the port where all the shopping and late night festivities take place.

HOT TIP:

  • Off Paseo Maritimo, if you're coming by car but tip is to arrive in style by catching a boat from Ibiza harbor directly to the the club - cool huh?

  SOME MORE TIPS. . .
1)

WHEN TO GO

Depending on what you expect: crazy, crowded, hot quiet.... you have following options:

- Crazy opening parties - 2nd and 3rd week
- Less crowded - end June - beginning July
- Really crowded, really hot - July & August
- Less crowded, less hot - beginning Sept
- Crazy closing parties but not that good weather (colder and rainy) - end Sept

2)

WHERE TO STAY

Depending on how many people are you going with I would consider:

- bigger group - rent a villa with a nice pool
- just 2 or so - sleep in a cheap hotel - clubs and drinks including water will cost you enough money to fill it in your pocket, plus a car and flight... you don't need to spend more money on a hotel you will never be in anyway...you will party most of the time, sleep and rest on the beach and eat out as well, the only reason you need a hotel is to store you staff , shower and change :-) That is at least my theory.

TIP: Remember to book the hotel in advance via internet - it is MUCH cheaper. Even if you have not done it before instead of going to the hotel reception book it still via internet as in Spain internet bookings have much better lower rates!

I stayed in Victoria Hotel (website) in Talamanca beach - cheap, clean and close to Pacha...fine with me :-)

3)

CAR RENTAL

In Ibiza you car is a MUST! Clubs are spread around the city, some cool places are in other towns than Evissa and if you want to go to nice beaches you will need a car as well. I would say that car is more useful than a hotel. You will not sleep in the room much anyway and the car will take you to all the places that are the best. And you can even sleep in the car - i did :-)

In Spain it is MUCH cheaper (sometimes even twice) to rent a car via Internet. If you go to the same company in the office on the airport they will charge you much more so book in advance on Internet! I paid 30 EUR instead of 57EUR a day. But if you would do it in advance you can get a car for even 20 EUR a day!
The cheapest you can find the car on:
www.pepecar.com
www.jugones.net/alquilercoches.htm

4)

CHEAP TICKETS for the clubs

Do not buy tickets on the door!!! They are much more expensive. Pacha can be 60 EUR and Space 55 EUR!
There are few ways of buying cheaper tickets:

  • on-line presales
  • Buying the tickets in the bars in front of Space in Playa Den Bossa (Tantra has special ticket booth where Pacha costs 45 instead of 60, all other bars on that street sell tickets behind the bar)
  • Getting wristbands for the parties during the day on the beach or when the clubs close (for the after parties)
