Bullrun is the most glamorous and high profile of the new breed of high-end “luxury lifestyle” automotive rallies. Each year, a hundred of the world's premier super-cars embark on the beginning of an invite-only epic eight-day rolling party across the USA, bringing together a celebrity strewn cast of characters and 'petrosexuals' for an unforgettable adventure, where, the only obligatory goals are to party, drive and enjoy..

Fast women and faster cars abound as a host of rock stars, supermodels and celebrities take part in an unforgettable road rally. Last year contestants had to drive from LA to Miami fuelled by an incredible schedule of VIP parties.

This year Bullrun kicked off for a 3,000 mile New York to Los Angeles cross country rally.
This is an all out throttle fest boasting 100 cars, 200 drivers, 8 days and 8 sleepless nights.

Bullrun 2006 was a coast to coast classic, New York to Los Angeles, July 21st - July 29th.

DAY 1: NEW YORK - TORONTO
  · Start: Times Square, New York City
   · Activity: Pocono Raceway , Long Pond Pennsylvania
   · Finish: Hilton Toronto , Toronto Canada
Broadway was closed from 45th to 42nd. All kinds of pandamonium among drivers, cars, and spectators. Really a fantastic way to start the event.
Above my girlfriend Michele who got me into the whole thing!
One of the famous drivers that joined the race at the beginning was Mario Andretti. Apparently on the way to Poconos at one point, New Jersey State Police Officer next past Mario. When he saw him, he snapped a pic on his camera phone and went off...
Michele on the first day drove with Victor Muller
- CEO of Spyker
I was in the bus with the organizers
Till the last moment none of the drivers knew where we were going...
It turned out to be TORONTO - Hilton Hotel . After quick shower there was a party in XXX
DAY 2: TORONTO - CHICAGO
· Start: Hilton Toronto , Toronto Canada
   · Activity: Windsor Casino , West Windsor Canada
   · Finish: House of Blues Hotel , Chicago Illinois
First day was first and last one i have spent on the bus! On second day i drove with TEAM TAXI. Believe it or not Zack bought the TAXI from the film Taxi on the auction in California and 3 weeks before the race rebuilt it so it can race. It can drive damn fast. And the guys were so nice to me - thanks for the home made cookies!!!
We had quick lunch in the Windsor Casino in Ontario and we were hanging out with the drivers. Michele was driving with the guys from the Audi.
Police there was very friendly. They lead us all the way to the US border with a Police escort.
Through the streets of West Windsor, across the Ambassador Bridge all the way up to the Passport Control in Michigan.
The finish line was at HOUSE OF BLUES hotel in Chicago. Champagne was already waiting for us.
We arrived quite early so I had enough time to walk around and take some photos.
We had dinner and party at night in the House of Blues club next door. Cuban Brothers gave a great show!
DAY 3: CHICAGO - CANSAS CITY
· Start: Lake Forest Sports Cars , Lake Bluff Illinois
   · Activity: Anheuser Busch Brewery , St. Louis Missouri
   · Finish: Hotel Intercontinental , Kansas City, Missouri
From Chicago to Kansas City i drove with Omar in the Corvette. It was great. Great music, open roof so i could sun ten and high speed! Omar drove over 180 m/h...and we we pulled by police only twice! Two tickets in one day in nothing compared to the record team who got 7!
Other team that run out of gas!
Lunch stop at the Anheuser Busch Brewery in St. Louis
New friends met on the way
Once again - that was such a nice day. Omar was kind enough to slow down to 100 m so i could take some photos of a beautiful sunset.
Tarun in Porsche trying to take over...
FInally in Kansas City...
DAY 4: CANSAS CITY - VAIL
· Start: Hotel Intercontinental , Kansas City, Missouri
   · Activity: SRCA Drag Strip , Great Bend Kansas
   · Finish: Sonnenalp Hotel , Vail Colorado
Michele did another car hop and went with Troy in the MOSLER.
Not an option for me as it does not have an open roof so i can not get more tent!
I have chosenTEAM 13
(better know as Team HANDSOME)
And that was a good choice! Not only Jay & Warren were fun but also I had the whole back of the Chrysler Sebring to myself so I could sun bath in my bikini...
despite getting 3 tickets Handsome team still made it great 14 place!
Arriving in Vail was amazing. Aside from being a beautiful town with beautiful surroundings, there was a 3,500+ person crowd when we got there who were all screaming and cheering. Streets were lined with people, security and Police everywhere, bands, beer and food. We celebrated our arrival with knockwurst, bratwurst and tequila shots. Unfortunately rain interrupted the party...
Bullrun took over VAIL - cars were parked everywhere...
DAY 5: VAIL - LAS VEGAS
· Start: Sonnenalp Hotel , Vail Colorado
   · Finish: Caesar's Palace , Las Vegas Nevada
I could not resist another day of sunbathing so I was with Jay and Warren in Sebring again!
I'm not sure what happened, but apparently one of the teams got in jail and everyone was warned by a local Sheriff and a State Police Officer:
Do not speed in Colorado...
That was definitely the most scenic drive - the views were amazing...it was also the most hot day. The temperature was 105°+ since we left Colorado...
Today we arrived early so we could fully enjoy what Cesar Palace has to offer...pool, dinks, relaxing...
In the evening there was a party on the pool in Cesar, followed by a party in Treasury Island Hotel. As it was to crowded we ended up in one of the suites and partied till the morning...
Once again with my favorite
Team Handsome :-)
DAY 6: LAS VEGAS - SAN DIEGO
· Start: Shelby Museum and Las Vegas Speedway , Las Vegas Nevada
   · Activity: London Bridge , Lake Havasu City Arizona
   · Finish: Santa Fe Station , San Diego California
For last today's thanks to Michele we got our own car - LOTUS!!! It was great fun to see all the guys stopping first time to see the car and than second time to double check that its really 2 girls driving it :-)
We drove 110 m/h all the way thought and even despite the fact we got lost twice we still arrived 13!
There was almost no one there so we had the whole pool and the beach on the roof top of W HOTEL for ourselves....
That was actually one of my favorite evenings and i enjoyed the small party on "the beach" a lot.
DAY 7: SAN DIEGO - LOS ANGELES
  · Start: W Hotel , San Diego California
   · Activity: California Motor Speedway , Fontana CA
   · Finish: Beverly Hilton , Beverly Hills California
With Spyker team: Olympic legend -Carl Lewis and CEO of Spyker - Victor. Many thanks to Victor and Carsten who we called about 15 times to ask about directions...
I think this car is designed for us - small, fast and sexy... :-)
The rally was originally supposed to end at The Grove, one of the tonier open-air shopping areas in Los Angeles. However, at the last minute, mall authorities reneged on the deal, as they'd been doing some research on the Internets and decided that the Bullrun wasn't a "family-friendly" event.
So we chilled on the pool in the Beverly Hilton and got ready for the party at SOCIAL CLUB. Finally everyone could relax as we did not have to get up early next day and drive in the heat for 10 hours. Medals were handed out, awards were given and in the end... it seems that everyone's favourite Tove Christiensen won the rally.
Felt strange - but that was the end! Most of us stayed in Los Angeles for the weekend. We did not see much of LA as everyone was so tired that the only thing we could do is chill on the pool and sleep. I could not even be bothered to take and photos...

All in all although bit tyering it was a great experience! I drove through the whole US, got tent, drove in some great cars and met a lot of people!

SPECIAL THANKS
to Adny, David and Danny for inviting me! Of course special thanks to Michele as she is the one who introduced me to them and was my mate though the whole way! I can not forget about all the guys who took me in their cars: Taxi team, Omar, Jay and Warren. Also few words for Victor and Mark for being such a great company!
